Alesco Advisors LLC Ranked as a Leading Registered Investment Advisor by Financial Planning Magazine

ROCHESTER, New York - Alesco Advisors LLC (Alesco), an independent and employee-owned SEC-Registered Investment Advisor, was named one of 150 RIA Leaders by Financial Planning Magazine in its October, 2021 issue. Founded in 2000, the Rochester-based firm now tallies more than $5 billion in assets under advisement (AUA) across approximately 500 institutional clients and high-net-worth households.

The Financial Planning Magazine list ranks firms in descending order based on assets under management (AUM) as reported on the firms’ SEC Form ADV. Firms must have no affiliations with a broker-dealer and must be non-commission-based in order to be considered for the RIA Leaders ranking. In addition, at least 33% of the firm’s clients must be individual and high-net-worth, and at least one of those clients must receive financial planning services. According to Financial Planning Magazine, only 19.8% of Registered Investment Advisory firms fit the 2021 RIA Leaders criteria.

“On behalf of the Alesco team, we are proud to receive this recognition from Financial Planning Magazine, and want to thank our clients for allowing us the opportunity to serve them over these last two-plus decades,” says Jim Gould, founder and president of Alesco Advisors. “In an ever-changing financial marketplace, we continue to have conviction in our core tenets of asset allocation, diversification, and cost control.”
